Minutes of Savannah Crossing Homeowners Association
Meeting Date January 8, 2013
CALL TO ORDER:
A Special Meeting of the Savannah Crossing Homeowners Association was held at the Glen Carbon Community Center in Glen Carbon, Illinois on January 8, 2013. The meeting convened at 7:05 pm, President Alex Rigoni presiding.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes from the December 4, 2012 meeting were corrected to show that a membership vote to approve changes to the SC HOA Bylaws was scheduled for the January 8, 2013 meeting. Motion to approve the corrected minutes was made by the President and seconded. Motion carried.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Scheduled Vote: A vote had been scheduled to occur at the January 8, 2013 meeting, for the purpose of amending language in the SC HOA Bylaws to reflect the increase in annual HOA dues as approved at the December 8, 2012 meeting. A quorum of 10% of homeowners did not attend the January 8, 2013 meeting. President Rigoni moved that the vote be held at the next meeting of SC HOA. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
Weed Control. President Rigoni moved that SC HOA commit to two weed control applications on the 1.5 acres of common ground along Old Troy Road, in order to take advantage of discount for early payment, with a possible third application as required. Motion carried.
2013 SC HOA Budget. The proposed 2013 SC HOA Budget was presented. Motion to approve the Budget was made by the President and seconded. Motion carried. Budget will be posted on the SC HOA website.
2013 Membership Dues Payment Alternative. Treasurer Heepke suggested that SC HOA offer members the option to pay annual membership dues on line through secure third-party PayPal. Webmaster Thouvenot will investigate and report on this subject at next Board meeting.
